\n On October 14, 2023, the English and American Literature Association (EALA) in Taiwan and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at National Cheng Kung University will host an international conference on “Mapping Care<\/a>,” with the aim of navigating the dynamic formation of contingent communities, border-crossing dialogues, and unforeseen circumstances of crisis and dilemmas regarding care that prompt emergent strategies and ethical imagination. This special issue invites scholars (including the conference presenters) to contribute papers that examine acts of caring represented inAnglo-AmericanandAnglophone literature. Currently indexed in Taiwan Humanities Citation Index (First Tier), REAL accepts manuscripts written in either Chinese or English.<\/p>\n
